Last month, a down-the-hole drilling rig ordered by a customer successfully arrived at the site and began operation.

A down-the-hole (DTH) drill rig is a high-efficiency rock drilling tool widely used in mining, quarrying, and construction. Its core feature is that the hammer is placed directly at the bottom of the borehole, driven by compressed air to strike the bit at high frequency while rotating and discharging cuttings. This bottom-hole impact method minimizes energy loss and achieves high drilling speed, making it especially suitable for deep blast holes in medium-hard to hard rock.

The equipment descends to the bottom of the hole to perform powerful impact rock drilling; air pressure ensures smooth debris removal, and operation is simple, enabling the efficient completion of open-pit drilling operations.
